Hi fellow Royals Nation posters,

I just wanted to inquire if any of you are interested in joining the Royals Nation Fantasy Baseball League over at Yahoo! Sports. If so, just reply below. Your e-mail address should already be in your profile, but if it is not, please include the address below or message me personally.

This will be a *free* league, with at least 12 teams joining (depending on how many are interested). I need your opinions, though - should this be a Head-to-Head League or Rotisserie-style League? For those of you who haven't competed in Fantasy Baseball, it's a really exciting bonus for the summer.

I will e-mail all sometime in February for further details and an official invite. And I'll post a link with further information once it is posted. We'll discuss all specific league rules once you have joined the league. Otherwise, message me here or e-mail me personally at JRaider2005@yahoo.com. For now, I wanted to see who was interested in joining. I hope you will enjoy!

Could I go over there right now and find the league? Can we sign up yet, or do we have to wait? I've done Fantasy Baseball before but signed up last year in June...

The leagues aren't available until sometime in late February. I just wanted to toss a topic out there early to build up interest for the season! The more teams the merrier - I often find that 14 or 16 teams provides for great competition. And it would be even greater if most people would update every day (I've been in leagues in the past where this hasn't necessarily been the case...).

I'm glad some folks are pumped, are there any more who might be interested?

I came in sixth of twelve...

Last year was my first year doing it and I was really bad... I probably should have come in at least third what with Pujols, Beltran, Teahen and Francisco Liriano...

But I will be reading fantasy baseball books soon.

Just for the record, the free Yahoo! League will begin sometime in late February. I plan on hosting 14-18 teams in a Head-to-Head League. Other rules should be straightforward, but you will find out once you join. I will take suggestions for League Rules, so feel free to shoot me an e-mail at JRaider2005@yahoo.com or message me on here if you have any problems, complaints, suggestions, opinions, etc.

As for the League, do we have any other takers?

I'm really looking forward to competing with all of you!
