Barry Bonds hit his 752nd and 753rd homer this afternoon against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Suddenly, Bonds now stands two HR's away from twing Hammerin' Hank and three away from becoming the all-time HR champion*.
The homers were his 18th and 19th homers of 2007. He hit the first HR to right field off starter Ted Lilly, and the second HR to center off reliever Will Ohman. Bud Selig is now backed into the decision whether he should (or should not) attend Bonds' record breaking game.
