Actually, I don't agree with the rules and don't believe Billy Butler should be in the contest. So I'm trying to get him out of there.

Actually, I don't agree with the rules and don't believe Billy Butler should be in the contest. So I'm trying to get him out of there. Billy Butler is a Minor Leaguer now, and the consensus is that he projects as an above-average Major League player....and he's only 22. How is this against the rules? Is it because Butler is only 'temporarily' a Minor Leaguer? Unfortunately, there is no timetable for his return. If he gets recalled, then I'll omit him from the list. Also, Mike Moustakas. Seriously, sahurst? That's some harsh treatment for someone who is 19 and projects to be a well above average Major League hitter, by the vast majority of scouts. By the way, guests are welcome to vote in this contest, so if you're perusing the thread, feel free to cast a vote. It's easy. As long as you don't vote for Butler or Moustakas before Round 10. Most of the players eliminated have been Omaha Royals. Not really a surprise. As skillset mentioned, Costa will be better than 70% of the players on this list. Unfortunately, we just don't know what 70% they are. We know a lot more about Costa's potential than we do about someone in rookie ball at this point, for example. That said though.....For this round, give me Zach Peterson, Burlington Bees. Not great peripherals for his ERA....and good relievers in the Midwest League are a dime a dozen.

It's not against the rules set; Butler is someone who we all project to be back sometime soon so I don't think that he should be in the running for the minor league survivor. That's all.

Fair points, and I wasn't trying to be combative. I wish Butler a speedy return.
