Homers are almost nonexistent in this league, but where will Giancarlo De La Cruz end up this year? He's 19, I think, but he's unlisted on the DSL roster. Is he one of the high profile signings (I'm not remembering). Hope we didn't let him slip.

No, he wasn't a high profile guy but neither was Ed Cegarra (and they had similar DSL stats). Guessing he'll just move up to Arizona or Burlington (NC)...but that's just a guess. No idea.

As mentioned in the other thread, the Idaho Falls Chukars have now announced their roster for the 2008 season. A few minor changes in the roster have occurred since this article was posted. For this information, consult the website homepage.

The Chukars and Burlington Royals 2008 season begins on June 17. The B-Royals will play an exhibition game before the season officially begins. The AZL Royals begin on June 22.

Luis Cota has officially made the Chukars' roster!!!

The Royals now have over half of their 2008 draftees signed, so be on the lookout for these men entering our Minor League affiliates. Hope we can get Melville and Hosmer signed, soon.

Anthony Bradley was sent all the way to AAA - does anyone have any information about this?

Minor League Rule V selection Ray Liotta has yet to pitch this season. Does anyone have any information about this?

The Idaho Falls Chukars and Burlington Royals seasons officially begin tomorrow! Tuesday, June 17.

Idaho Falls will host Casper at 7:15 PM, and Burlington will play Danville at 7PM. The rosters have been updated, and are located atop the forum.
