The Omaha Royals season ends on September 1. They have already been eliminated from making the PCL Playoffs, so they will definitely not play after this date. The Northwest Arkansas Naturals, however, have already clinched a spot in the TL Playoffs; so they will likely play until mid-September at the latest. Make your predictions on which players will be recalled to KC for the month of September? Given the flurry of recent DL trips (hat-tip to trainer Nick Swartz), which Royals organizational players - prospects - or just plain Minor League veterans - will be called to Kansas City for the month of September, when main rosters can expand to 40 men, at the most. No, but guys who were at the Major League level but were placed on the D.L. don't count. Gobble won't count since he is technically on rehabiliation assignment. Grudzielanek, Mahay, Maier, etc. will not count, unless they get flat-out demoted to Omaha before and if they return in September. |
