Are we just doing ESPN or would there be enough to do a Yahoo League as well? There will only be an ESPN League. The Yahoo! Leagues didn't open until today (Friday), and the ESPN League offers more - divisions, more stats, etc. I'm sorry I couldn't notify everyone of the site change sooner, but I heard from several sources that ESPN was better.

"You cannot view this private league because you are not a league member."
That's what mine says.

Just so everyone knows, I have set the league to a private setting. If anyone has any ideas for a change in the scoring categories, please let me know. Here are the categories that will be tallied every week: And dejesus9, you will get the 10th overall draft! Hey, at least it's better than me (just kidding).

I signed up but now I can't access my team. Like I went to ESPN.com and clicked on fantasy and I'm signed in but I don't see how to get to my team.

***Just for everyone's information, we now have 12 members registered at the ESPN Fantasy League. This will be a 16-team league, so we need 4 more members to join.***
I sent everyone an e-mail on Thursday night, asking them to join the league. In case you haven't registered and are still interested, please check your e-mails. If the e-mail was filtered or was simply never sent, contact me and I'll send you another one.
Also note that if you do not respond within the next week or so, I may give your spot away to another member. If no other site members are interested by then, I may simply give the spot away to a non-member. We need to get the league up and running as soon as we can so we can decide on a final draft date.
In case you have not updated your team, the default setting on ESPN names the team "Team *Last Name*", so Joe Smith would have the name "Team Smith". I would encourage everyone to at least decide on a team name to keep the league interesting and even to prevent other members from making fun of the horrendous default name ;D
Please understand that if you are no longer interested in joining, please notify me. If you are already registered, I would like everyone to update their teams continuously throughout the year. I really want this to be a competitive league. Remember that only the division winners advance to the playoffs (the divisions consist of 4 teams), and I would like this to be as competitive (read: enjoyable!) as possible.
FYI, here are those who were invited who have not yet joined:
RoyalLoyal royalsfan2008
Because I have not yet invited 2 people, it is not too late to join!
Thanks to everyone for signing up!

What do you'll think of Cobras as ror1fan'z team name?

I would vote Cobras or RoR1's Cobras would be cool too.

royalsfan2008 and RoyalLoyal, you are in danger of losing your spot! I have e-mailed other members, asking them to join. If they join before you do, there will be no more room available. Just a heads-up.
Once again, the draft date will likely be announced this weekend!

And, for the record, I have eliminated Fielding Percentage and Quality Starts from the scoring categories. There will be 18 categories now that you will either win or lose each week. (That is, each category you win will count as 1 point and vice-versa).
As far as trade reviews go, I will have a 24-hour time period to review each trade. There will be no trade vetoes. I will always accept the trade unless it is blatantly obvious that one team is simply giving players to another (which I know won't happen).

Believe it or not, there are still three spots open in the Fantasy League. If you still wish to join, reply here and I will send you an invite via e-mail immediately.
***I have decided on our initial draft date.***
How does Sunday, March 11 OR Sunday, March 25 from 1:00-3:00 sound for everyone?
