Luis Castillo - a roster filler who wasn't drafted and has shown why with his play the last couple of years.

Luis Castillo as well.
Why him and no Derrick Robinson on the list?

Luis Castillo as well. Why him and no Derrick Robinson on the list? Good point about Robinson, he is a top 15 prospect for the Royals and didn't make this game??? We have on the list someone like Jamar Walton who gets signed as a MiLFA when we need roster fillers in June to fill out our 3 Rookie clubs. He took a roster spot when the Royals demoted OD Gonzalez and Alvi Morel to Idaho Falls. How about we substitute Derrick Robinson for someone on the Burlington list.

What happened to Jason Taylor?? In trouble with the law? I never heard about that. I wrote David Holtzman Director of Media relations: "What happened to Royals prospects Jason Taylor and Luis Cota?" And wrote back: Jason Taylor is at his home in Virginia dealing with personal issues. Luis Cota has been injured this season.

Edward Cegarra is also not on our lists. He is an 18 year old international signing who is holding his own on the Low-A Burlington Bees squad, 40.1 IP, 40 H, 11 BB, 27 SO, 4.24 ERA. That's a good line for his first year in the states. Most kids go to Arizona their first year here.

Craig Brazell.
Cota had like Tommy John or something. It was a major surgery I know.
Taylor was said to have Justin Upton's athleticism, but was projected in the fifth round. I don't know what he's done or accused of doing, but I am interested to find out.

I don't want to turn this thread into a discussion really...but Jamar Walton is legit. We got him in a trade from the Marlins for a PTBNL. The Marlins took him in the 4th round a few years ago...he's was basically a raw 5-tool athlete when they drafted him. Moore has said if you give athletes time, they will figure it out. Thus the acquiring of Gathright and Walton, and drafting of Robinson, Hilton Richardson, Patrick Norris, and David Lough.

OK, here are the votes we have for this round.
2 - Cota 1 - Aviles 2 - Castillo 1 - Costa 1 - Brazell
I seriously considered adding Robinson to this list. I'm still hesitant to do it now. If I add Robinson and Cegarro, who should be removed?
But 1 vote for Cota or Castillo eliminates that player for this round.

But 1 vote for Cota or Castillo eliminates that player for this round. I would say remove Kyle Martin and Brett Amyx. Both are struggling to hit much above .200 in Rookie ball and were very late draft picks. So they aren't prospects nor are they performing well.
