The reason Costa, Huber and Brazell (?!) hasn't received the chance that Gordon has received is because they're not the natural talent he is, Gordon has a lot more invested into him AND he's the face of the franchise. I still don't get the obsession with Brazell. I'd like to see him get Gload's playing time of course, but it's not like he's going to put up numbers that dwarf Gload. It's not that rare for a 27 year old to dominate AAA out of the blue.

I will start the round off with a vote for Dan Cortes.
Love his numbers but it is A ball afterall and he has questionable off the field decisions that raise red flags with him. I'm surprised this is the first vote for him.

My vote is for the future closer of the Kansas City Royals, Carlos Rosa. As for the questionable behavior from Cortes, I don't like to spread rumors about people on the internet, but I have heard some that claim he has exercised poor judgement and needs to mature. His myspace page also lends me to believe what I have heard. Hopefully he will mature and get his behavior under control. That way if he does pass out on a toilet, he isn't in a position where his picture gets published on the interent for all to see. |
