Musser has been lights out at Omaha, I was disappointed to see him get sent back down after his short stint. I think he will stay in KC this time around. With the pen the shape it is in, and all of the pitchers who are rehabbing getting closer and closer to returning almost everyone on the staff better take note. I look for a shake up of the staff by the middle of this month with Bale,Dotel,Hudson,Elarton all healthy.

Right-fielder Reggie Sanders was placed on the 15-Day Disabled List (left hamstring tear) on Thursday, May 3. Shane Costa was promoted from AAA Omaha. This also signals that a roster move in Omaha is imminent.
In my opinion, we should have traded Sanders when we had the chance.

To accomodate Scott Elarton's start tonight against the Chicago White Sox, left-handed reliever Neal Musser was optioned to AAA Omaha. As for who loses the spot in the rotation, all signs point to Luke Hudson going back to the disabled list.

Joakim Soria was placed on the 15-day DL with right shoulder inflammation before Saturday's game against the Mariners at Kauffman Stadium. The injury is retroactive to May 23.
Soria, one of the best young pitchers in baseball this season, was 1-2 with 10 saves and a 3.57 ERA after taking over the closer spot early in the year. Ryan Braun was recalled from Triple-A Omaha for Saturday's game.
